Violence or Chaos? Girls Night Out Whiskey Cocktail

This cocktail is a great kickoff to a girl’s night on the town, refreshing but strong its sure to get the evening going.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz Maker’s Mark original
  • .5 oz lemon juice
  • .5 oz simple syrup
  • .25 oz tattersall creme de fleur
  • .25 oz cocchi rossa

Instructions

Method: Add all ingredients into a Boston Shaker. Add ice, Shake, and strain into a coupe glass. Express lemon peel

Garnish: Garnish julienned candied (in rose water) lemon peel, and large fresh rose petal

Candied lemon peel 

Add 2 oz dried rose petals to 1/2 qt water until it comes to a boil. Add lemon peels and boil 10 mins. Add 1/2 qt sugar. Simmer low 5 mins. Drain liquid and coat with sugar. Add coated lemon to parchment paper and cover again with sugar. Allow to dry 2-3 hours and store in airtight container.

Glassware: Coupe glass
