So! Never hurts to have a plan B. Intended to go elsewhere for breakfast. Well didn’t work out. I went to Bushwick Grind instead.
Very happy and pleased.
Ambience and atmosphere was very pleasant. Clean and appealing. Great assortment and variety of offerings and Black created and designed and tasty products.
The absolute star of the visit was the pleasantness and hospitality of the staff. After a slight mix up in stating the location is wheelchair accessible, it is not. It is wheelchair friendly meaning with a little help and care a wheelchaired person can enter but not by themselves because of a step. The woman, “Kymme” was very helpful and eager to serve me. At the time, I did not know she was the owner.
I ordered the 2 items from the Black Restaurant Week Specials, the Jerk Chicken and the BBQ Chicken with fries, a natural Chai Latte Tea while waiting and a jar of Keto Butter to go.
Overall the trip was very enjoyable and tasty and a great way to kick off Black Restaurant Week!
Clearly, a solid 8 out of 10 for me and my scooter
