Phat Birds started as a Pop Up on Sundays at the eponymous TiGeorges’ Haitian Cuisine in 2013. We did a culinary tour of Fried Chicken, exploring how we fry that glorious bird all over the United States and the World.
We use free range chickens that are free of hormones and antibiotics — and whenever possible, we use organic ingredients. We have a “scratch kitchen” and all food is made to order. All sauces are made by scratch, we hand-cut our fries, slow cook dry beans and do all pickling in-house. “How do you want it?” is our catch phrase– choose from our Honey-dipped, Nashville-hot or traditional styles all fresh out of the fryer.
