Nestled in the heart of Houston’s Museum District, Lucille’s specializes in well-refined Southern cuisine with infusions of international techniques and flavors. Co-founded in August 2012 by brothers Chris and Ben Williams, the restaurant is a tribute to the legacy of culinary excellence that began almost a century ago by their great-grandmother, Lucille B. Smith, who was an educator, culinary innovator and successful entrepreneur who founded her own food corporation. Today, Executive Chef Chris Williams and Chef de Cuisine Khang Hoang continue to pay homage to her by replicating some of her most famous recipes while embellishing others to create innovative takes on Southern food classics.

Posted at 19:20h, 10 JulyHoneslty I was unimpressed with the shrimp and grits. The fried green tomatoes were good. Customer service wasn’t bad. I would go back just to try the chicken and waffles, but the shrimp and grits were not what I was expecting. I guess most places serve Cajun shrimp and grits… these were NOT lol the shrimp seemed to be steamed or something .

Posted at 07:42h, 14 JulyMy husband and I went for brunch and we had the oxtail omelet and chicken fried steak with a side of macaroni and cheese. Everything was delicious! We sat at the bar because we didn’t have reservations and the bartender CJ was amazing and provided excellent customer service. We enjoyed it so much that we stayed until dinner and invited more people to join us and the loved everything too. We will definitely be back again very soon!
