- About
In September of 1986, Harold Legaux Sr. along with his wife Mary Belle opened Harold and Belle’s. It had been a dream of Harold’s to have a place where friends and family from back home (New Orleans) would gather, talk about old times, shoot pool and just socialize. His kitchen was small and the menu consisted of Po-Boy Sandwiches, Red Beans & Rice and File-Gumbo served only on Fridays.
The restaurant is now owned and operated by 3rd generation husband and wife team Ryan & Jessica Legaux. Together Ryan and Jessica have expanded the brand of Harold & Belle’s through various avenues. These include their food trailer Harold & Belle’s to Geaux, as well as the packaging of Harold & Belle’s Creole Seasoning. They are also in the process of building a new state of the art private dining room as well as a 60 seated/ 80 standing banquet room. Ryan and Jessica strive to create a complete experience in the community recognizing the growth and changes to the Jefferson Park and Crenshaw Communities doing their part to contribute.

I am an 88 y.o. senior citizen and I want to place an order for delivery
I wish to place a order for delivery, however, I live outside your delivery area. Since I am a senior citizen, nearly blind, can no longer and have no way to pickup food, therefore, may I humbly request that you allow an exception and permit Postmates to deliver to my address: In 2020, I was able to order from H&B to my current address, until the delivery service decided that my address was too far delivery to my address.
For Christmas, I was able to get someone to pickup our holiday meal for me and that’s the last time I was able to get HB. Today I started to really salivate after seeing H*B ads on Instagram. Looks like you have some new dishes that I would like to try. I would tip a delivery person not less than $20 to deliver to my address (I am desperate). I know that H*B are not hurting for business and won’t miss mine, however, I would be so grateful if you would PLEASE an exception in my case and approve a delivery to me by Postmate o any other deliver service.
