From blowing out candles with fans to drive-by birthday parties, the pandemic has changed a lot of American traditions. But one tradition that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon is the wing platter that accompanies most of the country’s Super Bowl celebrations. According to the National Chicken Council, Americans will consume more than 1.42 billion wings during this year’s Super Bowl Sunday. That’s up 2% from last year.

Whether you prefer wings or pizza for the big game – or both – you can keep the tradition going at home this year by ordering from one of the Black-owned wing or pizza spots in our national directory. From mango habanero wings to pizza pies inspired by “The Last Dragon” movie, we’ve got something good to go with your game day experience. And, of course, we didn’t forget the non-meat eaters. Check out the vegan restaurants in our directory or scroll down to see some of the vegan spots holding down your wing and pizza needs for this year’s Super Bowl LV.
