4 Reviews on “BIG MAMA’S BAYOU SHACK”
Let me say this. I’m from New Orleans or Nawlins as we say. Every place I’ve gone to in Los Angeles that say New Orleans cooking have missed the mark 100 times. But THIS LITTLE SHACK has the BEST GUMBO and POBOYS in town hands down. And that CATFISH PERDUE…Lawd have mercy. The owner is a Sweetheart. You don’t find that in the city. GREAT FOOD, GREAT SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY.
Great customer service and amazing gumbo that I can’t get enough of.
Thanks for all the love
Everything I tried in this place was excellent. Best food in LA. The barbecue was delicious I had a three-meat combo with ribs brisket and chicken. The owner Kendrick gave me an extra side so I had three delicious sides collard greens red beans and rice and potato salad. It also came with some fire cornbread. I have to say one of my favorite was the seafood boudin balls
