The Bakery on Bergen

The Bakery on Bergen is a small Black woman owned business located in the heart of Prospect Heights and is known as a safe space for the neighborhood. Beyond selling delicious and healthy baked goods, Akim hosts math classes for young children to show the youth how prevalent math skills are in our everyday life, empowering the youth and making math fun!

The Bakery on Bergen is #morethanabakery. We serve incredibly delicious treats, but that’s just the icing on the cake. Come for the bites and stay for the good vibes, the Bakery on Bergen is all about our community. Born and baked in Brooklyn, we design custom cakes, host special events, and teach exciting classes.
