A tropical low abv summertime slammer! This spritz variation uses makers mark bourbon to add complexity and spice. It’s a perfect pool-side companion.
Glassware: Collins or Pilsner
- 0.5 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz guava cordial
- 0.75 oz amaro Angeleno
- 1.25 oz makers mark
- 2 oz soda water
Add all ingredients to your collins glass. Top it off halfway with crushed ice. Use a bar spoon or swizzle stick to mix the ingredients for 8-10 seconds. Top with more crushed ice and garnish.
- 250 ml Kerns guava nector juice
- 250 ml demerara sugar
- 5 grams lemon zest
- 2 grams citric acid
Combine all ingredients and sous vide at 135 degrees for 2 hours. Strain and chill.
Garnish: dehydrated lemon and cilantro blossoms
