Ode To Her- Espresso Martini with Bourbon

Inspired by women in the spirits industry who often get left out of the conversation. Ode to Her is a boozy cocktail highlighting their efforts. 

Ingredients

  • 2oz Maker’s Mark
  • .5oz Amarula
  • 1.5oz Chicago French Press Cold Brew
  • 1 oz Coffee syrup*
  • 2 dashes Angostura chocolate bitters
  • 2 Dashes Angostura orange bitters

Instructions

Method: Combine ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a coupe. Add three drops of jerk bitters on top. Finish with three coffee beans on top (where they came from, where they are, and where they’re going). Orange zest oil finish.

Coffee Syrup

Combine three cups of cold brew, two cups of raw sugar and two shots of espresso in a pot on low heat. Split one vanilla bean in half lengthwise and add two medium-sized cinnamon sticks. Stir lightly until fragrant and sugar is dissolved. Strain before using.

Garnish: Garnish with 3 coffee beans
