Due to the recent spikes of COVID-19 in our communities, we are asking participants of Black Restaurant Week to encourage Delivery, Take out, and Curbside Pick up. We have seen the businesses that have incorporated these services in their model flourish during these hard times. This also keeps your staff and customers safe due to a lack of personal contact.

ENTICE THE COMMUNITY WITH GREAT MEALS AND OFFERS

The community is hungry and excited to experience your food during Black Restaurant Week. Provide them great incentives to visit your restaurant by offering a affordable special for the week. Many diners visit the Black Restaurant Week website to map out their plans for the week. The more opportunities you provide the community to try your restaurant, the better sales and traffic you will experience during the campaign.

MENU SUBMISSION TIPS:

  • COMMUNICATE all specials for the week  – Make sure to submit your specials and offers to us for the whole week. If you select Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner on your menu registration, please make sure to provide your specials for each service.
  • ADD Vegan/Vegetarian Options – There is a growing demand for vegan/vegetarian options from restaurants. Make sure to capitalize on this trend if you can by offering special dishes to accommodate this audience.
  • SUGGEST Cocktail/Wine Pairings – Offer wine or cocktail pairings to provide a up-sell to your special menu. Pairings will also improve your diner’s overall experience.
  • PROMOTE a new meal or service – Black Restaurant Week is the perfect opportunity to introduce a new dish to the community or test out brunch service. Use this time to really develop a relationship with your audience to find out what they like.
