Participation FAQs

Black Restaurant Week is a marketing campaign celebrating the flavors of African American, African, and Caribbean owned culinary businesses across North America.

Marketing campaigns can be expensive! Investing in radio, social media advertising, public relations, and influencer marketing for your culinary business can quickly add up. On average, marketing campaigns can cost a small business anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000. Black Restaurant Week leverages support from community and corporate partners to help cover marketing expenses, allowing you to pay an affordable fee to raise awareness about your culinary business within the community.

Black Restaurant Week campaigns are best suited for restaurants, food trucks, brick and mortar bakeries, and specialty food shops.

The registration process is completely digital. Participants can visit our website and click on the registration page to start the process.
